Original wood windows when properly maintained are cost effective, sustainable, and have a long lifespan. When compared to vinyl replacement windows, they can last up to 80 years longer. Sign up for this window restoration workshop, funded by the City of Lincoln with assistance from the Historic Preservation Fund, to learn how to replace broken glass and reglaze wooden sashes, extending the life and efficiency of your wood windows.
Attendees will demonstrate what they learned during class by using provided wooden sash and prepared supplies!
